How to Have the Best Movie Night Ever.

With things opening up once again, it’s finally time to get together with friends and watch a movie. Or you might want to hide away in your room, rolled up in a blanket, because public places are now crowded again and leaving the house has become stressful. Either way, I have a few helpful tips to make your movie night extra special!

1. Snacks

The right snacks can turn a boring watch party into a fun all-you-can-eat candy buffet! Ask your friends to bring their favourite snacks or go on a candy shopping spree before you kick back and watch your favorite movie.

2. Get comfy

Head down to your favorite space and get comfortable! Whether this is on your bed with Netflix on your laptop, on the couch, or on an air mattress in front of the big screen, be sure to bring a pillow and a blanket with you.

3. Friends

Try bringing some friends over! This way, if there’s any weird parts in the movie, you’ll have someone to share them with. You could even print out fake movie tickets to make the experience more exciting!

4. Find the right movie

Deciding on what to watch is hard, sometimes you realize you’ve been scrolling through or arguing over options longer than it would take to watch a movie! So, this decision should happen before even settling down to turn on a movie. You could watch the new Spider-Man movie, or the Pixar movie Turning Red – both of which are popular right now. If you don’t really like that type of movie, try the sequel to a movie you liked, or a creepy movie to scare your socks off, if you’re in the mood for it. Or, if you want, you could do what we all do and just go wherever Netflix takes us. I’m not the boss of you.

I hope that at least one of these suggestions helped better your movie-watching experience. Have fun!
